Restylane® is a brand of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Restylane® Lyft is an excellent filler for midface volume loss, enhancing the jaw line, and at Skin Boss, even augmenting the chin. Restylane® Silk offers Skin Boss patients smoothing of fine lines and plumping of the lips for a very natural look. Restylane® Kysse adds natural looking volume to your lips while keeping their normal, flexible movements.  These are some of the cosmetic fillers at Skin Boss that are non-surgical, minimally invasive, and take very little time to perform in our office.

Restylane® Silk

Restylane® Silk is a soft gel that works great for smoothing lines around the mouth and adding subtle volume to the lips. Restylane® Silk is also great for the patient looking for soft and subtle correction or just slight enhancement. This product is very popular at Skin Boss due to its multiple uses and the natural look that it provides.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft is a hyaluronic acid with a high G prime, meaning it has great firmness for lifting the midface and for correcting moderate lines. Restylane® Lyft is great for the patient who is starting to see the signs of aging, or the younger person who was never gifted with the curves of the midface. As we age, our skin loses collagen and volume, therefore the skin starts to sag. We will often see lines forming and the cheeks begin to flatten. At Skin Boss, we can make these corrections in a short period of time in the office.

Restylane® Kysse

Restylane® Kysse is a popular lip filler used to add natural looking volume to your lips while keeping their normal, flexible movements.  Kysse allows for precise, targeted results and can last for up to one year.  Along with the added volume, this lip filler also enhances lip color, smooths upper lip lines and

After consultation and assessment, photos are taken, and skin is cleansed and possibly marked with a pencil for injections sites. Some areas receive a topical numbing and other areas an injectable numbing. Dermal filler is then administered by needle or cannula (a blunt tip catheter) in the desired area. Some massaging might be necessary by the consultant. When home, it is recommended that the patient not massage the area or engage in vigorous activity the day of treatment. If a bruise is present, sunscreen should be worn, and arnica can be applied. Skin should be kept clean (wash with mild soap) for at least 6 hours. A follow up appointment is advised 2 weeks after treatment.

Some swelling, redness, and bruising is possible immediately after the procedure, though this will be temporary. Most patients can resume their normal activities right away without issue. There are other rare risks that we would discuss at your visit when we see you here at Skin Boss. There are a few things to keep in mind as you are recovering and enjoying the results:

• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
• Avoid extreme heat and cold exposures.
• Use sunscreen to protect your skin when outside.
• Avoid strenuous exercise immediately after your appointment.
• Apply a cold compress to the area as needed to reduce swelling and help with pain.

These products are great for all skin types and ethnicities. However, please note that these products are not for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or those with allergies to lidocaine.
