Neo is a laser that is very effective in treating redness, acne, melasma, rosacea and more. It can stimulate collagen and tightening in the skin. Neo has a microsecond pulse technology. This technology is what sets it apart from other lasers. The laser is attracted to reds, browns, and water within the skin. Therefore, it is effective in treating many skin conditions, producing a more even skin tone, and can have a tightening effect in the skin. This treatment can be done on many areas of the body, but mainly on the face, neck, and chest.

It is generally recommended to take an antihistamine prior to the treatment to reduce the skin’s response, even though this treatment is very mild and tolerable. Good communication with your practitioner is always important, and prior to the treatment, any topicals applied or medications currently taken should be discussed. The treatment takes anywhere from 15-45 minutes, depending on the clinical goals. After the treatment, you may feel warm, but usually there is very little discomfort, if any. Follow all post care instructions given by your provider. Typically, a gentle cleanser and moisturizer is recommended for a few days post treatment, and other treatment serums should be avoided.
